We don't have the GameChanger system up and running live this year for the Big League Western Regional tournament but we get the games input from the scorebook. The running pitches and hit locations may not be 100% but they should give you a pretty good idea of the actual games.
In a great match between two very good teams Hawaii prevailed over Southern California by a score of 3 to 2. Hawaii now moves on to the World Series in Easley South Carolina.
This was a good game between two very good teams. Both teams (in fact all of the teams at the tournament) were composed of young men who showed respect for each other and the efforts displayed in the games. We would have been proud to send any of the teams to Easley to represent the West.

Washington District 2 Little League has once again been selected to host one of the premier events of the Little League tournament season. This is the eleventh consecutive year that we have been selected to host the Big League Baseball Western Region tournament. The tournament will be held at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds and Events Center baseball complex from July 18th through July 23rd.
The Big League Baseball program is for youth age 15 to 18. The Western Region tournament brings in teams from Washington, Hawaii, Northern California, Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona.
This is a wonderful opportunity to come out and watch some great baseball. Admission is free. Cheering is required.

Hawaii will represent the West at the World Series starting Tuesday July 26 in Easley South Carolina.
Washington District 2 is hosting the 2016 Western Region Big League Baseball Tournament in Bremerton, Washington July 18th through July 23rd.
We will be using a modified pool play. This year we are anticipating seven teams. Check back for updated information.
Housing will not be provided by District 2 so your team members will need to procure their own housing. There are several more hotels in the immediate Silverdale area. More information regarding housing options is included in the attached packet
